Jared Skemp

As the Founder & President of Skemp Financial Services and a Senior Financial Planner with Cetera Wealth Services, LLC, Jared has dedicated his career to helping clients plan, invest, and protect what matters most to them. With nearly 25 years of experience, he prides himself in offering a customized, educational experience that empowers clients to identify, understand, and prioritize their financial goals while providing ongoing support.

Jared holds several professional accreditations, including FINRA Series 7, 63, 66, and 24 securities registrations, as well as a license in Life, Accident, and Health Insurance. His formal education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a dual MBA from Brown University and IE Business School in Madrid. Jared has also earned four professional designations: Accredited Asset Management Specialist^SM (AAMS^®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor^® (CRPC^®), Certified Retirement Counselor^® (CRC^®), and Retirement Income Certified Professional^® (RICP^®).

Outside of his professional life, Jared lives near Edinboro, Pennsylvania, with his wonderful wife and their beloved dogs. He stays active by lifting weights, playing tennis, and training in martial arts nearly every week. A former college tennis player, he also volunteers as an assistant coach for the Cathedral Prep boys' tennis team and the PennWest Edinboro men's and women's tennis teams. When he's not working, Jared enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling with his wife.
